Black Winter

The winter came,
With a single, cold drop
Of crimson on pure white,
Under the gray skies of a desolate heart.

Snows falling,
Covering,
Crimson fading under the glow of change.

Drops of red
Spread,
Soak into purity.
Desecration of holines.
Invasion of desolation.

Blood
Stained
Cold, rushes in,
Heat evacuates,
Winter’s onslaught.
Destruction

A heart turns black,
Cold, dead.
Black winter sets in
