I think it’s a default response to an oncoming new year to wonder where this one’s gone. “That’s gone so fast,” or “Where has the time gone,” are both right up there in the classic cliché statements for this season.

Critical Role is probably, arguably, the most well known Dungeons and Dragons game in the world, if it’s not, it’s very high up there. A group of “nerdy-ass voice actors,” get together each week to play D&D while the rest of us “Critters” get to share in their adventures vicariously. It’s time for another #WritingPromptWednesday, and this time, I’ve decided on something slightly different. It could be considered, maybe, cheating to use my own creations as a writing prompt, but it’s been that kind of week – and to be fair, this particular story doesn’t actually have anything really to do with the inspiration behind the prompt itself.
The concept of #WritingPromptWednesday (Or #WPW) came up as a way to provide a level of continued inspiration. Each week, providing a single prompt toward a short story, poem, or other creative piece to help foster creativity. This first Writing Prompt centred around the concept of Sunrise.
So, I know that I’m supposed to be writing novels and working on the various projects that I have been creating for a number of years; however, there are some things that just have to be dealt with as a creative person, and one of those things is that sometimes the muse just smashes you around the head, and won’t stop beating you until that particular thing is out.
